Before studying to become a sociologist, I attended art school and then worked as a graphic artist. I did not stay in this profession for long, but this early work kept alive my passion for visual story making. I’ve also learned, in more recent years, that my writing is strengthened when I can balance it with other creative endeavours. While writing is my primary creative pursuit, I also feel compelled to explore painting and photography.
